²⁴ and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in ^(A)the Law of the Lord, ^(B)“a pair of turtle-doves, or two young pigeons”. ²⁵ Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was ^(C)righteous and ^(D)devout, ^(E)waiting for ^(F)the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. ²⁶ And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not ^(G)see death before he had seen ^(H)the Lord's Christ.
